This 8-week Prep Class prepares you to 'test out' of this college course. Assessment of writing skills, including analysis, argumentation, synthesis, usage, ability to recognize logical development and research are covered to prepare the customer for the exam. This 8-week Prep Class prepares you to 'test out' of this college course. This Prep Class and exam covers material typically presented in a one-semester, 6 credit, College Mathematics course for majors in fields not requiring advanced knowledge of mathematics. Review of basic math and the following topics are included: sets, logic, real number systems, functions and graphs, probability and statistics, as well as topics in algebra and geometry. This 6-week prep class refreshes you with the fundamental skills needed for the College Mathematics exam. Upon completion of this course you will be ready for the College Mathematics course at Achieve, but not for the College Mathematics CLEP examination. There is no associated exam with this Prep Class and therefore no earned credit should be expected. The material taught in this Prep Class is a review of skills typically taught in K-12. Topics include but are not limited to: sets, logic, real number systems, functions and graphs, probability and statistics, as well as topics in algebra and geometry. This prep class and exam covers material typically presented in a one-semester, 3 credit, History of the United States I course. This course will focus from early Colonization to 1877, which means topics from the time of early European colonization, to the end of Reconstruction are reviewed. This 4-week Prep Class prepares you to 'test out' of this college course. This Prep Class and exam covers material typically presented in a one-semester, 3 credit, Introductory Psychology course. The Career Guidance course gives customers the tools and skills necessary to land the job they want and deserve. This Prep Class or Courses will cover how to find the best jobs, write a memorable cover letter, update your resume (Yes, it does need to be updated!), and help customers prepare for the challenges of the job search process.

How does this differ from what you think you know already about getting a job? By taking this course, you will be introduced to little-known tips and tricks given along the way that are easy to implement that get real results. You will develop strategies and an action plan while researching companies and open positions, and applying to jobs.

This 8-week Prep Class is taught by a human resource professional who will serve as your mentor along the way. It doesn’t matter if you have had several jobs, you're looking for your first one, or you're changing careers, this course is for you.

The Prep Class covers principles of economics that apply to an economy as a whole, including output and income, general price level, and relationships between sectors of the economy. The Prep Class focuses on the following areas: Institutions, Social Patterns, Social Processes, Social Stratification, as well as the history of sociology and sociological theory. This is a 6-week, communicative Spanish course that covers elementary and intermediate grammatical structures of the Spanish language, as well as vocabulary and cultural situations. Customers will begin to cultivate their Spanish proficiency through extensive interaction in the target language.

This course focuses on the development of basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in Spanish, along with the study of the cultures of Spanish-speaking peoples. This is part one of a two-part course, both of which are needed to master the CLEP or UExcel Spanish Language Examination.

Both exams are designed to measure knowledge and ability equivalent to that of students who have completed two to three semesters of college Spanish language study. The material taught during both years is incorporated into a single exam, covering both Level 1 and Level 2 content. This is not the actual college Prep Class, nor is it intended to deliver occupational skills.

This 6-week Prep Class prepares you to "test out" of this college course. This Prep Class and exam cover material typically presented in a one-semester, 3 credit, introductory management or principles of supervision course. The Prep Class content focuses on the following areas: Human resources, Operational and Functional management. The exam measures the customer’s understanding of management/supervision of specific terminology, theories, and application. This 5-week Prep Class prepares you to 'test out' of this college course. This Prep Class and exam covers material typically presented in a one-semester, 3 credit, Introduction to World Religions course. This course reflects the study of major religions as viewed in their social and historical contexts. It draws content from sociology, psychology, and philosophy. This is not the actual college course nor is it intended to deliver occupational skills. (DSST exam)

Highlighting this course are topics such as critical thinking and study skills. Nursing Test Prep Course Descriptions

This 9* week test Prep Course provides an overview of material for needed for the Kaplan, TEAS VII, HESI-A2, or PAX-RN nursing entrance exam. In addition to a review of exam topics, plenty of exam practice questions and explanations are presented throughout the course. Study topics include but are not limited to: Reading, English and Language Usage, Math, Drug Calculations, a survey of Anatomy and Physiology, and General Science. This is not the actual college class nor is it intended to deliver occupational skills. (Kaplan, TEAS VII, HESI-A2, or PAX-RN exam)

*This course is 7 weeks in length for Kaplan examinees, 8 weeks for TEAS VII examinees, and 9 weeks for HESI-A2 and PAX-RN examinees.

Prerequisites: TEAS VII Preparation
This 2-week Prep Class is a test prep course that provides an overview of material for the exam. It is designed to be an extension of the TEAS VII Preparation course and will only review the additional topics that are specific to the Kaplan Nursing entrance exam. The Kaplan Nursing entrance exam requires that you have essential academic skills. Our review Prep Class will include practice questions and an overview of the topics covered on the exam. These review topics include but are not limited to: Reading, Science, Mathematics, and English and Language Usage. (Kaplan Nursing exam)

Nursing On Demand Tutoring LPN- RN or BSN Bridge or RN Bridge

The Nursing On-Demand Tutoring is designed to allow our customers to work with an experienced professional nurse who would assist them in developing specific skills and knowledge in nursing that will enhance their professional and personal growth.

The course is designed to accommodate the LPN to RN or BSN Bridge customer with a clinical focus on the following key nursing areas: Health assessment including the health history, physical and family assessment and assessment findings at different stages of growth and development, Comprehensive head-to-toe assessment skills, interviewing techniques and data analysis, Foundation of delivery of nursing care with an emphasis on delivering care during health and illness, Nurse’s role in safe medication drug administration, Issues impacting nursing with emphasis on legal and ethical issues and professional responsibilities of nurses in the delivery of patient care.

Our Nursing customers are able to receive in-depth training in clinical focus areas in order to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the clinical content and the technical and professional skills to apply to their professional role as nurses. The customer is able to choose from a variety of time slots that align with their schedule and get tutoring as soon as they need it.

This 5-week Prep Class provides an overview of material from the NCLEX-PN exam. The NCLEX-PN test requires that you understand the basic principles of nursing and apply this to different elements of patient safety management. Our review Prep Class will include practice questions and an overview of the topics covered on the exam. These review topics include but are not limited to Fluid & Electrolytes, Cardiac, Maternity Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, etc. This is not the actual college course nor is it intended to deliver occupational skills. This 6-week Prep Class provides an overview of material from the NCLEX-RN exam. The NCLEX-RN test requires that you understand the basic principles of nursing and apply this to different elements of patient safety management. Our review Prep Class will include practice questions and an overview of the topics covered on the exam. These review topics include but are not limited to Drug Distribution, Maternity care, all disease processes involving patient care, therapeutic communication, etc. This is not the actual college course nor is it intended to deliver occupational skills.
