You’ve worked hard and made it through Excelsior’s requirements to get your ASN from them. You have one last hurdle and you will reach your goal - Excelsior College's Clinical Performance in Nursing Examination (CPNE*). You’ve heard the horror stories about this exam. Don’t be another statistic. The key to passing this exam is to BE PREPARED and Achieve is here to help!
We are separate and independent from Excelsior and although there are other solutions out there, from Excelsior's own CPNE® workshops to other boot camps, home study courses and online courses -none of them are as effective and convenient as our independent LIVE class options with actual teachers both in person and virtual.
*CPNE® is a registered trademark of Excelsior College
Exam Prep Training Options. Our exam prep course for Excelsior's CPNE exam is 24 hours long. Altogether, the class includes 3 classroom sessions over three weeks, some self-paced learning, and lastly one-on-one hands-on practice with a qualified instructor. It can be completed in as little as 5 weeks. You can attend a local campus near you or use our live virtual option and learn from home.
Local Campus. You may attend one of our 69 local campuses nationwide, where classes are taught by highly experienced nurses. You’ll learn on the same type of medical equipment that you will be tested on in the CPNE® exam so you’ll be proficient at the tasks required on the exam.
Virtual Option. You can also have this same advanced test prep training for the Excelsior College CPNE Exam* from the comfort of home. We’ll send you all the actual clinical equipment and a special camera so you’ll be able to interact directly with your instructor. You will be able to see and talk to your instructor virtually and they will be able to see what you are doing just like if you were in a local classroom. One big plus is it’s all one-on-one, just you and the instructor. Achieve is the only company that gives you this state-of-the-art option.

"Excelsior College's CPNE is tough, but taking the Achieve CPNE Prep class really helped. They even got me a tutor to help me with Care Planning at No Extra Charge. I passed on my first go round."

"Learning from my instructor's personal experience, and how she broke all the information down to ABC's, is what enabled me to gain the confidence I needed to pass the CPNE."

* Only the latest pass/fail result per course per customer is used. We use approximately the last 24 months of results in our calculation. Customer failed results are only counted as part of this calculation if the customer completed the course, which is defined as at least 85% attendance and 85% completion of assignments for that specific course. Results do not include college entrance or state license exams.
